Getting a Release from your Wage Garnishment
The IRS uses Wage Garnishments as a way to collect taxes that are owed to them. Once a garnishment has been filed, that taxpayer’s employer is required to collect a percentage of the taxpayer's paycheck for submission to the IRS.
A wage garnishment will stay active until such time as the tax debt has been paid in full, or a wage garnishment release is issued. If you are interested in getting a release from your wage garnishment, contact us.
